Many people are struggling to make ends meet right now, notably those who have lost their healthcare coverage. Money has become a barrier in ensuring health care. The accompanying pressure can cause mental and physical strain, making weighing their alternatives even more difficult. While these challenges are increasing across income levels, low-income families tend to be the most stressed. More than half of people reported having difficulty paying medical costs or being in debt as a result of medical expenses.
